I agree the writer should be less biased, but it’s unavoidable when the entire sports media machine (and the regular media too unfortunately) is entirely built on “engagement” and ad revenue. This dude knows where the money is.

Yeah, I agree. Just pointing out the bias. If you read it, it’s basically an article about the Lakers; and “woe is me” they have some injuries. And then they throw in a few comments about “oh and by the way the Clippers were also in the building”. And no mention of LAC already missing two starters.

Yes, the Lakers were missing more players and they were more important contributors. But in a sport with two competitors, the writer should really be just a tiny bit more balanced.

I mean, normally I’d be bit peeved about the Lakers bias and our lack of coverage, but we have 7 wins on the season. I don’t even blame the media for ignoring us. In fact Ivery much prefer that.

Always good to beat the Lakers, but our wins only seem to be against teams that are missing 3-4 key rotation pieces, which underscores the fact that our roster from 4-15 is probably the worst in the league. With th Lakers missing Reaves, Rui, Ayton, it was more of an even match and Harden/Kawhi outplayed Luka/Lebron (Luka went down with an injury). The Zu injury also puts a big damper on things. Hope it isn’t serious.
