See above, I’m not ignoring it. It’s been in line with bad stretches over his career, he’s a bad shooter, that’s a fact I have accepted. I’ve also acknowledged that he should take fewer shots.

Now, you for your part, are you acknowledging the data that he vastly outplayed even our starting point guard (who’s playing with much better fits for more minutes than Russ does) in the areas I’ve mentioned and that OVERALL Russ was a positive, heck, a big positive compared to Harden and others these last two games? Let’s see:

You called him a bad fit. You didn’t acknowledge any of that. You even asked for Bones to take his minutes. You criticized Russ much more harshly than the guy who actually hurt the team with his non-performance. You kept pushing toxic false narratives. You insinuated that Russ is to blame for a lot more than missing shots/taking too many which is factually wrong. You blatantly ignored the positives, even when they were pointed out.

And you have the audacity to say I’m ignorant of the points I already acknowledged. Standing ovation

I don’t dislike Russ. I’m actually a fan, but the data and eye test tell me he sucks on the ball. I don’t know how you can ignore 40/25/70 over 2 months when those other 4 guys are among the highest % shooters in the league among role players. We definitely beat Minnesota once and OKC with less Russ and more touches and shots for the other group.

‘Giving all the shots’ to others is simply to draw out and underscore the point. Russ has to stop calling his own number on the ball, especially early in the shot clock. His shots can come from off the ball play.

Kawhi did good work in the 3rd, but as you said it takes a team effort – the whole team played well in the 3rd. Meanwhile in the 4th, w/ our lead evaporating (thanks to Ty unnecessarily tinkering and the Lakers clawing their way back into it), when we needed Kawhi the most, he couldn’t step it up to stop the bleeding. Obviously it’s not *just* on Kawhi, but when you’re a “franchise-level,” All-NBA, HoF type of player, you also shoulder the most responsibility.

If you’re upset that Mann didn’t go out to help Theis on LeBron, sure I get that, but Theis was only on LeBron because Kawhi didn’t fight over any screens, no matter how soft they were.

Questionable default mode rotations from the Bubble to last season to this game, etc. More than seen what Lue can do, cannot do.

How I wish Craig can coach some games so we can see how good he can be for the team or not.
Nothing to lose and everything to gain at this point.
This can turn out to be a nice revelation. For each problem comes opportunity.

Hoping Lue can be gracious to give Clips the best opportunities. Team first mentality, all in.

If Russ took no shots, he couldn’t get others any either. He’d be PJ Tucker. Can he take fewer? Sure.

Also: the potential savior to keep Harden’s minutes down is Ty Lue. In spite of poor shooting, Russ has outplayed James Harden the last couple of games because Harden has done much more wrong (defense, himself taking shots away from others while being inefficient, turnovers, stalling the offense) than Westbrook has.

If your takes were reasonable or fair or anything that could actually help the team, we could discuss something like the first paragraph in good faith. But man, you’ve been so ridiculously biased, ignorant of the most basic facts, lopsided and setting such a double standard for the guy you dislike, I think your account has been hijacked
