I really think that people are overlooking that we don’t have Winslow, Bledsoe & Ibaka anymore. Am I happy that we have Norman Powell? Hell yes. But beating the Rockets & Lakers & Warriors isn’t some mythical feat (3 worst teams in the West? GSW sucks without Draymond) This is a weaker team. Those 3 guys I mentioned aren’t superstars, but they were semi-functioning, and that comes in handy faced with 16 games. I’m going to keep bitching until PG13 comes back. Bah humbug.

And Hann….come on….in retrospect you would have done Morris for Dinwiddie…ami right? Keep in mind he’s only official on the books for 1 more year and some change.

I don’t know what the future holds but the present is a bad taste in the mouth after a blowout against a beatable team. And the opportunity to do something about it was less than a week ago so it’s fresh. I don’t think you realize that our GM’s inaction makes no sense. None. There was no benefit in not picking up someone/anyone who will be play-in/ play-off eligible. Perplexed is a current state of being.

Boxing analogy. When a younger less experienced fighter fights the older more experienced fighter his corner instructs him to get in the chest of the older fighter, back him up and make him use his legs. Tibs had those kids in our grille and it was a struggle to get any clean looks or rhythm going. The three guys who performed well for us were Terrence, RoCo and Coffey—each of whom are all very athletic and spry. The 30-something crowd and our lumbering bigs struggled mightily throughout. The Warriors can’t bring that type of speed and pressure for 48 minutes so we will have opportunities to breathe and execute. What we want to avoid in the playoffs would be teams like the Wolves and Grizzlies—DOH!

I know I’m a whiny bitch and I know it’s just a small sample size but I’m so envious of A: the Mav’s having Dinwiddie and B: the Wizards having Satoranský. It just felt so obvious to me that Dinwiddie was going to bring el fuego after that Wizards debacle/ Would Morris at a cost of about half of Porzingis’s for the same amount of years really have been that much of a downgrade if at all for the Wiz?
As far as Satoransky he has statistically been exactly what we pine for in a back PG. he’s not just giving 10 valuable minutes, he’s giving 14

As folks often note, Clips are a jump shooting team by and large. When shots fall, they look splendid and heartwarming. When they don’t, it sux big time. Wasn’t it Doc with the famous saying (you know it– “It’s a _____ or ________ league.”)
This was also one of those games where you find yourself saying: “If only…”

Maybe the clips had too much rest in between games. Perhaps it is a good thing for them to go on a 5 and 7 schedule.
