Our issues closing out games are pretty rudimentary really. The games are closer than they should be because we keep riding without a backup center and when they inevitably get close we only have one steady hand on the wheel in Kawhi. Teams know that Norm is flakey and the line and PG can be rattled into turnovers so we end up with our backs against the wall. At least with PG you get an elite two way Allstar in the closing lineup, but Norm is too undersized defensively and bricks free throws. I was only meh on FVV because I thought he was just another tweener scorer like a young eric Gordon or Rozier type. But I made a point of watching him lately and he’s a much better athlete, defender and ball handler than I realized. He would give us another steady hand on the wheel who won’t turn the ball over and make his free throws under pressure. This would unlock Kawhi in a way that teams would find it nearly impossible to cope with. PG too since all he’d have to do is play D and hit good looks in crunch time. If we can get another solid big and trade for FVV I think we can win It all. With FVV we can also afford to put Terence into the deal so he should be ours for the taking. Terence, Luke, Coffey and whatever draft capital necessary gets this done.

No Kyrie please.

Another blown lead but fortunately they pulled it off. Or should I say, Nico bailed them out.

These blown leads are very concerning. It’d be best if they get rid of the Reggie minutes and invest in a real point guard and trade for a backup big.

The clips just playing only 8 guys tonight does show that Luke and RoCo will be moved.

I don’t think that we would actually trade for him. Our FO is really good at not leaking stuff. If this is getting leaked, it’s because we are not trading for him and we want to make it look like we might trade for him.

Way too many Jews in LA to trade for Kyrie. It wouldn’t be a good look.

Adding Kyrie to a team that’s already had bad vibes issues and has questionable leadership both from its stars and its coach is the equivalent to throwing gasoline on a fire hoping that that’ll cause it to burn out faster.
