We fall to 2 games under .500 again, but I’m not too mad.
Why?
In the 2nd quarter, Morris kicks out to Boston for a three.
Then, Reggie BLOB pass to Boston again for a flying dunk.
Later, Boston pass from the 3 point line to the post for a lay-in by Zu.
So our rookie, with obviously many helps from our vets, power a mini comeback for the team.
He also has a beautiful reverse lay up in the 4th Q.
Now, it is a Mann’s turn.
With 1 minute left in the fourth, he force a turnover, get another steal and goes for a dunk to cut it down to 6 with 31 seconds left.
He finish with 9 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steal with 0 TOs.
I actually think his low assist number is a bit concerning for him. (He has 0 this game.)
Maybe he plays more as an off ball cutter and shooter. I don’t know.
But he’s not that clutch anymore, right? No way.
He can’t be superstar like we want him to be? Maybe that’s the case.
But the guy plays nearly 30 minutes a game, in and out of the starting line up.
And he average 10 PTs / 5 Reb / 2 Asst with 47/37/74 shooting split.
He actually score 5 more points per game than last season with 10 more mintues playing time.

So right now, our 51st pick rookie is quite good.
Forget about lotto picks like Cade or Mobley.
For me, another late picks that’s quite impressive is Herb Jones (35th pick) for NOLA.
And he plays a lot for a team with the record of 11 games under .500.
Also, I love Coffey, Luke is a sniper, Hart is good and Zu is beasting.
Boston is already a rotation player in his first season, situation-wise.
Scrubb is a scorer and a developing playmaker, I hope he can step up when given chance.
I still have high hope for Keon and Preston will surprise a lot of us when he is back. I hope he can play soon.
T-Mann, I believe, is one of the best role player in the league.
And his contract extension, with one of the best value, will kick start in 2023-24 season.
This guy is a true clippers. He fights for everything.
Win or lose, we have a great team to root for.

Disappointed the Clips couldn’t pull this one out, but they had their chances – an average offensive game from MM, w/ an average team FT% wins us this one.

Ah well, they still hung in it and matinee games are always rough. Hopefully the guys are ready for Washington – I haven’t seen much of Trez since he left the Lakers, but I gotta assume he’ll be amped for this one.
