I’m shocked that the measurements are so close. I guess my issue with Moussa is that he doesn’t feel like a defensive presence as a rim protector.

Moussa and Mensah are both 6’10” and have a one-inch wingspan difference (7’3″ vs 7’4″). And Moussa is 4 years younger.

But I’ll let you like your SDSU guy and Rob like his Michigan guy. I’m hitting the snooze button for another year.

I agree with all of this to a certain extent, but I just don’t see it with Diabate. If he were as mobile as he is *and* a couple inches taller, then yeah, but I don’t see a lot of evidence that he can be an effective rim protector, nor that he’ll ever be a skilled offensive player. If I were handing out two-ways, I’d much rather have a guy like Nathan Mensah, who’s both mobile enough to switch onto anyone and also a great rim protector, but who has zero chance of contributing offensively, then a guy like Diabate who has maybe a 10% chance of developing offensively but isn’t big enough to be an actual defensive anchor.

I don’t know how much to take from Justin Russo reporting that Moussa was sick before the game and has been playing through some wierd back injury this season.

Brown does seem to have some basketball sense.

There was one play with Brown and Moussa; Brown could have taken a rushed 3, but instead, he passed to Moussa into the paint, Moussa waited for the second defender to commit and kicked it back to Brown for the open 3.

It wasn’t flashy, but good basketball.

I wonder if Morris will come into training camp at 10 to 15 lbs lighter. Losing some weight can do wonders later in a player’s career.

Harden is at a crossroads in his basketball life. Sixers are still a good team. It would be best for him to play the best basketball of his career this season if he wants an extension. Could say the same advice for KL and PG and Ty Lue.

I won’t hold my breath on whether PG and KL will be healthy when we need them in the playoffs.
Maybe, better to lower our expectations.
Clippers should stay firm in what to offer for Harden. Morey has a weaker hand.

Hopefully, another team will offer a contract to Moon. He certainly deserves a spot in the NBA.
