I think the message to PG13 from the coaching staff should be score, score, score…akin to what Clarkson does for the Jazz at a much higher level with way more tools and size. Slash off the wings..do not hesitate on open 3s…do not make the extra pass unless forced to…be single minded and score…0 for 5 from 3…take 5 more. His creation for others should be solely incidental. Stop dribbling so much, attack or shoot quickly. Part of his problem is hesitation in decisions and bad passes. If Ty simplifies his role and holds him to it, it may help. With Bev, Jackson, Rondo, Mann, our wings will not need to handle so much.

It’s the last part for me.. Regardless of his shooting though, I’ve liked how he’s performed in 4th quarters.. The PG we saw last year would’ve shied away from the moment completely.. So far through 8 games, we can’t say the same & that’s a huge factor for me.. Cuz even though he’s super indecisive, he’s not letting bad play affect his 4th quarters.. That should be looked at as a HUGE positive, he’s def moving in the right direction!

From what I heard, haven’t looked for the post game interview, it made sense to go with Rondo once Reggie got in foul trouble.. He def picked up the pace in the 2nd qtr & the team needed that after a sluggish start of the 3rd but I still wouldn’t went with Bev 1st.. I just don’t like how Lue tends to prioritize offense over defense especially when you have one of the best guard defenders in the damn league! Bev needs to play more, plain & simple! Nothing against the others, he’s simply the best matchup for Mitchell

I understand that PG13’s overall fg% was fantastic. Was it 57%…54%? I forget. He must have been putting up an astounding number of 2’s though because his outside shot was garbage.
