Ok people. Hear me out. We should trade Bledsoe and Morris for Kevin Love.
1. All Bledsoe is doing is playing defense. He is not an offensive threat. We have another player like that. His name is Justise Winslow. Now Justise was an overpay (Chogokin, I accept admittance in bit coin) but it sure hurts a whole lot less to watch a guy play one side of the floor at 4 million as opposed to Bledsoe’s 18. Plus, with Bled gone, there is no one in Mann’s way at the starting slot. PLUS we can actually try and transform Justise into a functioning cog with more consistent playing time and a clear cut role. Play defense/ pass the ball to Kennard. You know? Develop him. If it doesn’t work it doesn’t work, but I’d rather see what we have there than just sit here and watch Eric’s expensive stock plummet.

2. I have respect for Marcus. For his 3pt accuracy of course but especially when it comes to his small ball toughness. But this guy needs more rest than we can afford. He also doesn’t seem to want to rebound/ averaged a single assist a game last year. Now, Kevin Love is no Iron Man. The guy is hurt often/ deals with unfortunate mental health issues. (Huge music fan here and I know he is related to Brian Wilson from The Beach Boys…so yeah…sanity struggles are in the gene pool) BUT he got a heck of a lot of rest last season and is getting that rest again this year due to the Cav’s trade/buy out intentions. And the thing is the guy can still rebound, shoot the 3, and chances are you’ll see at least another assist more than Sr. Plus finals champion experience. Something a little more substantial than Knicks 2019 regular season accolades. The most frustrating thing about Morris is he’s utilized like a very large shooting guard and so the little things that are required of power forwards don’t seem to materialize. Kevin Love can do a bit of everything. If his health should fail, well…know it’s still early in the year…but you simply traded low/no production for no production. I was just in Vegas. Won some money with our Clips and for betting against the Fakers, so gambling is still fresh on my mind, and I think I would make this bet.

3. We keep Kevin Love away from the Warriors/ and the Lakers (his father played there so he might be nostalgic/ he’s got obvious Lebron connections/ every athlete who knows how to tie his shoes seems to want to slob the purple and gold knob. Frustratingly enough. They’ve been bailed out over and over and over and over and….

4. We might be able to get a little piece back. Now this might be a stretch, but if it saves the Cav’s a buy out they might be interested in attaching a Lamar Stevens, Dean Wade, or Dylan Windler. We don’t have much in the way of future draft picks so we need to acquire youth when we can.

Heard from folks on here that we played ourselves out o playoffs in first five games. Just couldn’t believe people think like that.

I don’t understand why we are getting so excited about the win. I thought the whole point was to lose all of our games from here on out to maximize our draft, since we obviously played ourselves out of the playoff picture with our 1-4 start

As a Clips fan, how could one not be hyped after that game? I mean, yeah the TO’s were ugly, but dang….TMann is still ascending on both ends of the court. D in the paint and rim protection looking good. The sheer joy of a Nard/Reggie assassins duet from the three…Ibaka returns…Clips are starting to find themselves and I like what I’m seeing. PG gettin’ to the line…
