I’m probably also a bit biased because I tore my ACL back in undergrad, so I know how much of a pain it is to rehab something like that – wouldn’t wish that on anyone just for basketball reasons. Now if that person has done horrific things in life outside of their performance on a basketball court (e.g. rape, domestic violence, etc.), that changes the conversation…but I wouldn’t wish an injury on/have bad tidings for anyone purely because I want my team to win a title.
