With the Lakers’ dire injury situation I believe the Clippers will certainly pass them in the standings and maybe secure at least a top-four seed. That’s contingent on the Clips playing up to their capabilities more consistently. We’ll see how that goes, but this last game was very encouraging.

Just found out PG got fined by the league 35K after the Dallas lost. With taking 23 team free throws against the Hornets, I’d say keep complaining about the officials. Perhaps they’ll get just as many against a better opponent.

I’m surprised Evan Fournier hasn’t been brought up recently. Dude can do a little bit of everything including get to the line (5 FTA in 30 min) and shoot the 3 well at volume. Closing with Fournier next to PG/Kawhi/Mook/Zu sounds pretty nice.

Bev/Lou/Fin and picks for Fournier/MCW works. Move Lou to a 3rd team, if need be.

Yeah, that definitely needs to be a trend. Reggie and PG are definitely the main culprits. Funny thing is that their high risk passes typically aren’t even to create an easy shot, but just a dumb pass. Unfortunately, I think Clips are just going to have to live with some high risk/low reward actions by these two guys as it’s just who they are as players. That said, they both bring a ton to the table (more so PG) to make up for a couple knucklehead passes.

The Pat thing is very interesting. He has immense value to the Clips, but availability is a huge question.

I’d certainly be open to moving him (either for a more stable defensive point guard or a better downhill guy), but the Clippers had better be sure about his injury chances in that case.

I hope Bev and Serge get healthy soon. That being said, I won’t be too broken up if the team winds up trading Bev – dude just can’t stay healthy, and it’s pretty damn risky to be relying on him being available during the playoffs. Also, I really hope Lue decides to stick w/ Zu in the starting lineup even when Serge is healthy – Zu’s been beasting recently. Zu and Mann are basically the only guys on the team who can actually give 100% every night w/o us having to worry about them breaking/getting hurt, and as Bev has shown on nights when he can play, enthusiasm and energy are pretty damn important for this team.
