Astute observation but it mite also come down to coaching. Other teams scout us well, know our vulnerabilities and exploit them. Clips have gone all in on their superstar wings and so necessarily cheaped out on big men. You can’t have it all. It’s a fair strategy when your stars produce but fans will be disappointed when they don’t.

Finally getting sort of a break for tomorrow’s Wizards game. Wiz playing tonite in Indy so we get them on a B2B. Let’s hope for double OT. I think this is close to a must win even for this time in the season. Self respect at stake. Just saw that Reggie is out for rest making JW the starter in his DC return. Fitting.

It’s a love/hate with PG. You absolutely love it when he’s blisteringly hot and then want to call him a dumbass when he throws the rock away. Last nite, 2d half I think, he’s bringing the ball up on the right side. Instead of throwing the sure short pass, he throws a rather low liner to the corner 3 shooter on the opposite side, easily picked off by any competent college player, let alone pro — I mean sooo easily telegraphed. I gotta ask if Kawhi really knew all there was to know about PGs game when he made getting PG a condition of coming here???

Exactly mislaw1. As a kid (high school/college…aging myself), coach would pull you if you had a lazy turnover. Teaching moment, then put you back in. I get it that Ty would have mutiny on his hands if he did that, but man, I hope he’s giving Wall and PG an earful about ball security and crisp passes during practice.

Going to second this take about turnovers. PG absolutely kills us with his turnovers. They literally cost us 8 – 10 points every game as his TO’s almost always lead to dunks going the other way. Wall does as well, but you can take him out. You can’t yank PG out without some bad vibes on the team. He is an unbelievably talented player and is offensively capable of taking over a game. His defense is a bit overrated as he doesn’t block out or rebound, but whatever. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone with such little regard for a possession. Value every possession dude!! If he just played fundamental bball without getting cute, we would have about 4 more wins this season.

Injuries, "load management," turnovers, bad free-throw shooting, players still don't work well together, going soft and giving up leads, Luke doesn’t get the ball enough (just for starters).
