The Clippers appeared to be a different team last night against the Hawks. They played together for the 1st time this year. Why was that? Could it be that CP3 wasn’t around?

We find out that CP3 didn’t speak to Lue for 2 weeks. WTF is up with that? Evidently, he was disgruntled. How much did that rub off on everyone? Hall of Fame career, GOAT Clipper, and all the accolades don’t negate that this year, CP3 sucked. Minimum-salary players who played as he did would have been waived weeks ago.

No one needs a minimum salary player who sucks, bitching, moaning, and making life miserable for his teammates.

How CP3 was let go was dramatic; however, Paul needs to take responsibility for his actions. If I recall correctly, several contributors here thought that Paul could be a problem. Well, he was. Now he’s gone. It’s over.

Ballmer placed responsibility squarely on the shoulders of Lue and Frank. That’s the right move. It’s on them. Lue and Frank will be here until the end of the season. Let’s see how it all shakes out.

I liked what I saw against the Hawks. More KS, Cam, and sprinkle in Konan.

We can only hope he doesn’t survive even one more game. Every day I start the morning by searching for Clippers fire Lue, and every day thus far I’ve been disappointed.

I think it sucks about cp3. but clips need help and Paul can’t do it. it may have worked if the clips were better. but that’s not the case. I honestly think he should probably retire. he’s not much help on the court anymore. and the turnovers make him a liability.also the clips can’t quit. their picks go to okc. but imo, the clips just need to play better. and hopefully it will click.

There are only two reasons you let a guy go this publicly. #1 they are in some type of legal trouble and you want to cut ties asap—which is highly unlikely given CP’s history as a serious family man and professional person. OR, the more likely reason being that he made some comments about Frank, Ballmer or someone else in the executive realm and they wanted to publicly humiliate him for it. If it were a dust up with another player or coaching staff they would have brushed it under the rug and said he’s went home for personal reasons or illness etc and then gently let him go. This was meant to sting. HARD. I hate this team in this moment. I’ll bet a lot of other fans do too now. It’s not that hard to find another Jersey to root for. Fuck them.

“Coach Kerr” may have just finished off “Coach Lue” tonight by demonstrating how to compete regardless of players available. We have TWICE the personnel that the Warriors put out there against OKC tonight and we can’t even beat crappy Memphis or Dallas teams?

clips have been missing a lot of easy mid range shots that I feel they should make. way too many turnovers. defense leaves a lot of open shots. don’t get back on defense in time. can’t make threes, don’t get calls. im sure there’s more. Please fix.

Dunn is as bad a shooter as Westbrook, but at least he doesn’t take as many attempts (including ineffective drives to the rim). That was more frustrating.

true, but I highly doubt the clips organization can win without superstars. just my opinion. there is no way SGA’s getting those foul calls as a clipper. lol

It’s coping mechanism but the second half’s play looks promising: Konan being a lob threat, Cam/Sanders/Brown as a ball handling playmaking rebounder who can interchange play with each other. And CP as an on-court mentor to the younger guys.
All is not lost on the season. Let’s see how it goes.
