I feel like Mann on Butler was a conscious decision by the coaching staff, to let Jimmy score (albeit not easily) if it meant limiting the Heat from 3, a la what teams would do against the Lob City Clippers w/ Redick.

Zu hammered them inside for 18 straight second-half minutes

See normally I’d be concerned about Lue playing Zu for that long w/o any rest, similar to when Doc rode Trez for long stretches…but Zu was just playing too well to take him out. When Doc threw Trez out there for 20 uninterrupted minutes, Trez often was clearly gassed towards the end, whereas in this game Zu looked fresh for the entire time he was out there. Love to see it, and hopefully he keeps it up – we’re gonna need Zu against Gobert and Favors (who thoroughly outplayed him in their first matchup).
