Another fortunate break with regards to availability/health – and another convincing win. Miami doesn’t gift away games. We took it from them in dominant fashion. Key factors imo:

1) Kawhi playing
2) Mostly stellar defense vs Bam, Jaquez and Robinson while also bothering Herro.
3) MUCH better rotations in the second half. We had the usual issue in the first half: a Russ-Norm-George trio not moving the ball rather than the much better Russ-Norm-Harden trio without PG.

In the second half, Ty Lue might have found a good to great lineup to give Harden more rest (and PG and Zu): Russ-Norm-Coffey-Kawhi-Theis looked extremely good. Lue gave Kawhi a breather prior to that, leaving Harden on the court for Harden-Norm-Russ-PG-Theis. If that lineup moves the ball rather than iso’ing, I could imagine it becoming our regular rotation
4) Hot shooting from 3 (in particular Norm – who wasn’t used as a floor-spacer at all in that bad stint in the first half).

Glad that Mann had a strong offensive game, too, albeit that two makes came in garbage time. Norm had a terrific game. That non-call on Coffey’s 3 – lol. And the calls Bam got on drives as compared to Kawhi and Russ – okay…

Quality win. Kawhi back just in time for possibly our most important week of the season: @PHX, @NOP, @LAL, vs PHX. Phoenix with their big 3 available is a whole different animal. T-Mann, PG, Kawhi and Russ are gonna harass them

The Harden-Zu connection is fantastic. Amazing pass over a crowd to Zu under the basket for a score.

Man, Clippers are really ripping apart this Heat team in the 2nd half. Norm Powell on a heater the whole game. Kawhi in terminator mode. PG was super efficient in Q3. Mann got it started crashing the boards and getting out on the break for a finish. Coffey looked strong. Russ had a much stronger 2nd half. Harden being brilliant. Impressive looking half against a very difficult team to play against.

What a turnaround. This is the team from the 9 game win streak. Kawhi is incredible on both ends.
