Reading a lot about Blake right now, no trades make sense at all, he wants to compete the last couple years of his career, would be be really sad with all the hype and dominance he started his career with to not go out with a bang on his own terms. He wants a role, and wants to leave the game on top I bet . He’s professional and humble dude, I see him leaving money on the table, and joining clippers lakers or Brooklyn in no particular order. If he was movable he would of already been moved by now. He’s not, and Detroit is not attaching any picks or prospects (bey) to rid Blake.

Supposedly he buried the hatchet with ballmer?!
Also had good things to say about our chances last postseason, he also mentioned that he’s proud of being part of putting the clippers on the map and wanting to get there 1st chip.
I doubt Detroit buys him out, but maybe Blake’s willing to take less, he’s made a ton of money and health wise he might not have many chances left at a chip.
Obviously he has plenty of recruiting teams but coming back the clippers would be one hell of story, win a chip and still get that clipper for life jersey in the rafters treatment?
He’s got to understand that the clippers had to do it. We’d be Detroit right now if we didn’t trade him. Blake’s the type that that I could see forgiving a d coming back. One of the nicest down to earth people I e ever met.. but who knows ? Detroit owes him so much fucking money, buy out seems impossible as does a trade!

Good memory!
Yeah ariza would be nice, however since he hasn’t had any new info come out , I don’t think it’s a ‘ case of ariza not wanting play for a lottery team and a little bit of a child custody thing , it’s most likely all about his child custody thing imo.
And in that case having gone through a brutal o e myself and seeing my brother still going through one(on year 3 still no decision from the courts’ they love money and wanna keep shit going , in some cases , ariza is prolly going through hell right right now and even if it it gets resolved he will prolly in no way shape or form be able to focus on basketball . Takes a toll on you believe me!
I hope fir his sake it works out and he gets back to basketball before he’s outta the league, but kids always #1 priority.
We might have to look more at George hill, washed out iggy, harkless etc.

Yea he took the trade pretty personally…which, I can’t really blame him for. I hope he joins a team like Boston or he could go for a reunion w/ Doc in Philly. Just…yea, him in a Fakers uniform would be Draymond-groin-kick-level painful.

I agree, let’s roll with the guys that we have, we’re starting to build some familiarity and chemistry. If we can get someone at the buy out market, that’s fine. Beating a good Heat team with overall great team play — that’s Clippers basketball.
