Definitely have to see this a few more games from Serge. He’s had a few other games where he hit shots, and then others where he can’t hit the broadside of a barn. He’s been turning the ball over way too much and some of his missed shots might as well be turnovers.

Funny though his overall season shooting (over 40% from 3 now) looks solid, which is why I keep thinking he might have some trade value. But still the eye test isn’t there yet. If he can put together a string of 4 or 5 good games, we can start talking about him being back as a full time member of the rotation.

Amir and Serge carrying this team to a win, probably isn’t the best recipe for long term success, but at this point you take wins however you can get them. Without their stars maybe you just have to hope one or two guys get hot each night. You hope more often than not, it’s Morris and Reggie that probably have to carry the offensive load, but especially Reggie hasn’t shown the consistency this season. Earlier this year (while Morris was out) really felt like this team was going to really need Kennard’s shooting on a night to night basis, so hopefully he’s back sooner rather than later.

At this point w/ Serge, it basically comes down to “is his shot falling?” His defense hasn’t been terrible, but when his offense isn’t going he’s not contributing much out there. He’s not washed up, but he also hasn’t played well enough to displace Hart whenever he fully recovers, and I wouldn’t be completely opposed to trading him if the Clips get an enticing offer.

Another win that we fans needed badly to restore our hope. In reality, when guys start to see their shots fall, they’re more motivated and so step it up on D. Human nature. We outshot ATL pretty badly and that was the story. So nice to see all of the guys making shots and plays. Tough loss for ATL as they had us on a back to back and needed an LA split. Onward and, hopefully, upward.

This is one of those games where a fan asks “maybe we can stay afloat?” I can’t speak to that but what about Serge? I thought he was washed up!??? This team and season is all about keeping the cradle in place until
If and when the juggernauts return. History would suggest that’s a fools errand but we’ve never been through times as crazy as these so who knows?

ATL didn’t play well, and Trey Young had an off shooting game. But, happy to get the win.

COFFEY! This cup is not for free. I hope we find the way to keep him long term and I believe we will. Him on another roster will be worse than the jingles. This is a great team win. Bled, Zu & Batum are solid. I love Serge's mini run in the 4th, happy for the guy. T-Mann is also enjoying himself again. When we get Luke and Hart back, this team will be more potent again.

I haven’t been following “Sweet Lou” this season. So he’s out of the Hawks’ rotation and washed up? He looked washed up last year. He’s an all-time great Clipper and should have a statue outside the new Clippers palace in Inglewood. Reggie has not been so hot this year.

Batum (and Hart?) has to be the priority, but I hope the team figures out a way to keep Coffey this offseason – he’s far exceeded his two-way status so far this year. Glad the Clips bounced back after that sorry effort against Memphis. There were still some sloppy TOs and stagnant offense, but both of those just happened in spurts today, as opposed to constantly throughout the game. Also, this was the first game in a while where the Clips dominated the boards – 13 offensive rebounds were huge. Still gonna be a rough stretch coming up, but every victory w/o PG13 (and Kawhi obviously) is crucial.
