Obviously no one knows how bad it got behind closed doors, but this just feels like the worst possible way of handling it. 3am on a road trip and have it come out through social media. Not even some B.S. press release saying it was a “mutual decision” like we typically see.

Maybe in a few weeks, they can have those talks, and allow him to rejoin the team? feels like that bridge is burned.

Just sad that it probably all stems from the horrible start to the season on the court. If the team was even like 0.500, I doubt the relationships get this bad. Losing, especially for a guy like CP, I assume is not taken very well and hard to have much fun with the guys if you’re losing like that. Things will keep spiraling if you keep losing, and I wouldn’t be surprised if you start hating the guys like CP trying to fix everything by yelling at you. I’ve always liked CP, but clearly this got to a point where it was untenable. I assume the players that mattered were consulted and agreed to this, and hope at least we see some improvement on the court.

Big picture wise, this is still embarrassing, but any Lakers fans that want to clown on the Clippers now though, can’t forget a top 2 Laker legend left their team in nearly the same embarrassing fashion.

I saw a much happier, more cohesive team during the Atlanta team than I did previously. Was that a coincidence? BTW, there are no coincidences. It looks to me, CP3 hasn’t accepted where he is as a player. He was fortunate that the Clippers gave him a minimum contract so he could take in his retirement tour. He was an end-of-the-bench player. In all honesty, Paul was lucky to get that minimum. No one else was going to give him one, and I’d be very surprised if he ever plays again.

CP3 morphed into PJ Tucker.

Frank flew out to speak with Paul. I suspect that the conversation didn’t go well, and the Clippers cut bait. Seems similar to the Red Sox and Rafael Devers. The Red Sox got rid of a problem and made the playoffs. Let’s see what happens.

I’m hearing all about Paul’s leadership skills. If that’s true, you don’t bitch and moan while making yourself a disruption. Leaders don’t do that.

I always go by the eyeball test. My eyes saw a different team against the Hawks. I saw a more cohesive unit.

Long story short, we had finally stopped being the “same old Clippers” for the past 12 years and now Ballmer has dragged us all the way back to the dark ages again. So it’s fuck him and fuck the Clippers until I see substantive changes being made to fix this mess. They don’t deserve any fan support when they do nothing but take us for granted.
