Had to look up TYVM, I’m not hip to all the internet lingo. By Ireland’s predecessor are you referring to the guy with the Greek name, Spero Dedes? Who went to the Knicks I think? Thought he was pretty good. Ireland’s not great. Mychal Thompson is insufferable.

Yea that’s how I feel. Indiana just made “everyone” available, but they have no reason to blow it up unless they get their socks blown off with an offer. Celtics are playing their game with the media like they do every year, making offers and being “THIS CLOSE” to a deal with everyone.

I feel like there are just a ton of “I’m willing to trade this guy” like I heard guys like Trez, Porzingis, even John Collins, but I don’t see these teams having a good reason to move them. If anything I feel like this year, there is less team that are going to be sellers given the current standings and the play-in tournament.

I really think the media is going to be let down on how much action there is this trade deadline.

Outside of Lowry, the buzz feels pretty artificially manufactured, tbh. I’m not expecting anything big, but hope we can get in on some of the bigger name buyouts at least now that the Clips freed up some space by unloading Fi.

Zubac to me should be at least shopped around, but only because it really feels like there’s going to be decent big men available on the buyout market (Drummond, LMA, Lopez, Javale McGee). The only problem with that is, there is no reason for teams to buyout players prior to the trade deadline so unless behind the scenes there are some assurances made that guys will get bought out AND are interested if the Clippers open up playing time, I don’t think they risk moving on from Zubac not knowing who will be available.

I would assume the Nets would get the pick of the litter of any available bigs on the buyout market. Will there be enough bigs to go around if the Clips are in desperate need of a big after the trade deadline?

TYVM. A bit more—comparing Noah and Ireland. The most glaring difference is Ireland’s laziness. For example, here’s Ireland: “KCPs 3 is no good” vs. Noah “Kawhi’s 3 hits the front rim, bounces off the glass, and falls just off to the right side.” Noah describes the game while Ireland takes the easy way out and cheats his listeners He likes to pattern himself after his predecessor but not in the same league.

Enjoyed your account of your “fine nite of B ball.” Noah is a great talent. I really don’t care for the TV version of Sieman at all. He was okay on radio but Noah even at his young age is far better in my opinion. Last night’s game was a Clippers classic.

too many huge names getting floated out there. This trade deadline is going to be severely disappointing. Usually years that are quiet we get the huge trades.
