I don’t think we got KL and PG13 too late. I think we got outcoached because Doc is an overrated coach, and then got screwed because Joe Ingles is a dirty mofo who I hope never sniffs a ring.

But yea, we aren’t going anywhere this season w/ Ty coachibg like this and w/ the current roster. I’m not at blow everything up stage yet (but I am at “fire Ty” stage), but only because I don’t think we’d get enough assets back to make it worth it.

Unfortunately it’s just clear that we got KL and PG two seasons too late. The rest of this roster doesn’t fit together and that’s compounded by Lue’s insanity w/ rotations.

It’s time to blow it up. Fire Lu, fire Frank (who is flat out bad at his job) re-stock the draft picks by fire selling everything older than 25. This era is a slog and you’re never getting healthy KL and PG for long enough to find any stability or do anything of note.

For the first time in a while I could go to the game tonight(season tickets) and I just didn’t want to. I had been traveling for work the first few months of the season so didn’t get to use my tickets much.
I was excited to start going when I got home. Lost that enthusiasm quick. Hard to feel anything for this team.

A most interesting defeat for the Clippers. I liked the rotation at the start of the game. But then Ty Lue started doing Ty Lue things. He played a 3 guard lineup in Q2 when things went south. He then didn’t play T-Mann for most of Q4 and favoring Powell and Wall, which cost them the game.

The other thing that cost them the game was poor shot selection. Clips kept pining for the 3 instead of playing into the mid range area, getting mid range and shots at the rim and, most importantly, getting to the FT line. 4 missed 3s and 1 TO out of 6 possessions in the last 5 mins killed them. You have Kawhi Leonard and Zu on the court. Play the damn ball inside!

I also didn’t like Lue favoring Wall over Reggie. Reggie has been solid and has won the team a lot of games playing different roles. I know this Q4 was exactly the type of game where Big Government makes big shots and plays. Not having him and Mann out there in Q4 and trusting Powell/Wall is just hard to understand at this point.

We’re still not playing Roco and Coffey. Coffey along side Reggie, Roco, Powell and Moses Brown would be a very solid 2nd unit lineup (with PG/Kennard out). I just don’t get why Lue isn’t trying such things.

I do think Lue is trying to change things up in the last 2 games, but he hasn’t come to the realization that his vision for how he wants this team to play is completely mismatched with the talent on the roster.

Effort was better but wasn’t enough. PG was missed
Hawks are a good team but were on a bad streak , this was def winnable.

Luka is an improved Trae – this is going to be getting tougher and tougher…
