Defensively his footspeed didn’t look very good (though I guess that’s mostly expected for big guys), but his shot definitely looked smooth. Perry and Diabate both had good nights.

Our 2nd rounders from last year look stronger and older. Preston had some nice passes. I was encouraged by Diabate’s energy.

Laugh me outa here with this take but gotta say that Boston reminds me of Kobe a lil bit–body type, shot making, much improved D, steely focus.
And, just really like the way Moon handles himself, seems to have improved (or is it just the SL competition that he seems to just easily take a part?). He’s got a place in pro ball somewhere.
Diabate: Raw as hell but he’s got some tools, very bouncy, can switch off onto the smalls (and seems to like doing so). Has a kind of joy for the game.

Diabate, Preston, and Boston all look good so far tonight. Preston’s defense, rebounding, and game sense, Boston’s shot making, and Diabate’s hustle have been great. Perry has looked pretty good out there too.
