He seemed comfortable at SF last night, to be fair.

I think his versatility at SG/SF is an advantage. Right now, LAC has better depth at the 2 than at the 3, so it makes sense for him to be playing more of his minutes at the 3. Forcing him into the SG position with this roster is just unnecessarily squeezing the minutes at positions where you have higher quality depth and exposing your shallow forward pool w/ Kawhi out.

Reasons: he’s played SG since he’s been a Clip. Magic was 6’9 PG so height’s not relevant. He also seems very comfortable at SG and I like the pressure it puts on the other side to match up.

What makes PG a SG and not a SF? He’s 6’8″ and has played the large majority of his minutes in both Indiana and OKC at the SF next to two smaller perimeter players.

I just think we need to get away from the 3 guard (PG is a SG) starting line up. Hey, I know KLs not on board but we’ve somehow got to figure out how to best optimize these guys and it just wasn’t there the 1st 2 games.
OT: any comment Robt on no Coffey/Winslow for G2?

Playing PG/Morris/Batum all together at 2/3/4 just leaves you really thin in the backup frontcourt and probably squeezes Luke out of the rotation altogether

Ty needs to rethink the guard corp. PG needs to be at SG along with a playmaking ball handler who can shoot (debateable who that mite be—not too keen on any of them right now–probably Reggie). Round it out with Hart (yes, I said it; good passing big man), Batum and Mook. Get bigger. Then ud at least have a fighting chance.
