Mikal Bridges with a goose-egg; Brunson over 40 min — go at him/them. Bad 3 pt shooting but credit aggressive Laker D. Let’s get it.

We didn’t run a single down screen for Kawhi when he was only guarded by 1 to force a switch, and Garland only had eyes for the roll man on most of those half court sets. His ball handling was hit or miss. Needs to give up the ball sooner, go set a down screen or flair screen, get open, get the rock, find Kawhi or attack.

Would hate a blow out where they can rest up for us. So, go both teams!

Guessing his thot process goes like this: “Why should I pass to that open guy when I’m for sure the better bet to score than him.” Unconscious gunner — we’ve all played with guys like that. And you know what usually happens? Guys will become reluctant to pass it to him knowing they’ll never see it again. How can he become a less selfish player? I don’t know.

And ur right about his torn achilles in 2024—that’s a tough one to return to form. Gotta love his play so far.

I think he can–as JMac said he can do it in a “collection of ways.” He offers a different type of D e.g. can body up and move laterally in a way a 7 footer cannot–so, it may actually be a plus that Jax is not a 7 footer. Jax mite even be quicker, less gangly and maybe even be a bit sturdier. Agree Coach K?

It’s cuz he’s a tiny ass guy and tiny guys who like to shoot and playmake are easier to trap cuz they can’t see over the D. DG needs to give up the ball before he’s trapped and then look to get it back. Ty Lue, a former tiny guard, needs to mentor him a lil bit.
