Knee issues carried over from the playoffs through pre-season? Shouldn’t this be a major concern? Tendinitis? What condition, exactly? Without his jumper, where is the balance if the scoring going to cone from?

I don’t like the idea of having to rely upon scoring consistency from Bled.

Batum +5, 5 Rebounds, 2 Blocks
Hartenstein +9, 4 Rebounds, 2 Steals

Morris did not play during the pre season to rest an injury.
Still, Ty insisted on Morris to close out the second straight nip and tuck game.
Hoping 6thmanstein to be a starterstein, his play is synergistic to the team for a big (compared to Zu and Morris).
Loved Bled’s D and scrappiness, the Energizer TMann.
PG MVPesque thus far but not enough, still needing support from Lue to rotate based on player merits to close out games.

Playing through pain. Bad knees. Doesn’t get to practice an appropriate amount of time EVER. It sucks. He’s a power forward and I’m not sure he got a single rebound this game. It’s essentially like having a tall slow footed shooting guard out there. His contract= terrifying.

This game serves as a perfect example that it’s going to take more than just Paul George to win. He played that amazing and we still lost. Everyone on this roster will have to step up. Haven’t been able to watch a game yet because of all kinds of self imposed shenanigans (concert after concert after… see you at Phish tomorrow) but from the highlights Zu got absolutely cooked. He’ll find his rhythm at some point but it’s got to be soon or the play-in might not be in the cards for us. Play-in is the most I’m allowing myself to hope for this year. That’s not some dramatic reaction to two recent losses, I’ve felt that way since the roster was assembled and that’s probably archived on this site somewhere.
I put Phoenix, Utah, Denver, Memphis, Golden State, Dallas all ahead of us in the regular season standings. Westbrook’s play might normalize and bump us further down the standings. Long season but every game is going to count unless heaven forbid we fall out of contention entirely. Morris’s knees probably wouldn’t mind.

What exactly is Mook’s issue? He looks like krahp.
Other than that, I like how Bled is hustling and disruptive on D and is attacking the paint. If the kick-out passes to the corner land in the hands of a capable shooter, Clips offense will be a lot more effectve….It will be nice to have a Ibaka back as a rim protector too.

One would have thought we could get this game. Classic wake up call that other teams are good too. What’s all the more demoralizing is everyone largely did good things and we still came up short at home. Portland will be a good test. We’ve gotten a couple games under our belt against good comp so there really aren’t any excuses if we can’t pull that one out. Maybe we are only a play in team. Love is blind. Sigh.

From what I remember of Memphis last season they bombed us with floaters. So I’m hoping Lue has the guys ready to switch out of drop coverage if Ja and co. are punishing it.
