I had a feeling there’d be a swell of ppl wanting to play Amir over Mann now, but he really isn’t close to the better player. I’m not sure why Mann can’t hit a 3 to save his life right now, but he’s never shot below 35% in his career so I expect the regression to happen soon. I like Amir too and he’s great at just not hurting you out there. He’ll never force a shot, turn it over by doing too much, or get lost defensively but he can’t impact the game like Mann either. Props to Amir for being ready to play and embracing his role to help the team, but once Mann gets the shot right he’s gonna pay huge dividends. Even now, he still impacts winning most games.

There seems to be something going on with George. He goes through these periods of disengagement. His concentration level comes and goes.

Keep shooting the ball, TMann.

Liked Kobe out there. Play hard. Play defense. Keep shooting and attacking.

Amir, keep playing this way.

Harden is the best thing to happen to ZU.

The inexplicable turnovers are maddening.

Can’t quibble with the fatalism but I don’t think it’s quite that bad. Knowing him and the medical staff they may play this injury out as long as they can get away with it.

Imagine TL has been sitting Coffey all this time. Almost ruined both he and Terence. Having said that Ty has been trying to up his game this season so won’t belabor.

Mann wasn’t a total zero on offense this time but still can’t make a three to save his life. Impressed by Coffey’s play in this one (don’t tell anyone, but he’s better than Mann). Zu was great. He’s really raised his game since Harden arrived.

First, Happy New Years to all of our members here!

Second, another UGLY WIN!

Thank goodness for Zu, 1/2 game of Russ and PG, Instant Coffey, and at least, T. Mann is shooting.

Next year will be better for us. Still, grateful for the wins.

Kawhi will be back. Stay tuned!

So it sounds like Kawhi’s going to be out for foreseeable future. Not even cleared to practice, PG saying “going to be a while”, etc.
and yet this franchise lists him as “questionable/GTD/day to day” for a week when he’s going to easily miss a month or more.

So sick of this brittle bum torpedoing this team year in and year out. Can’t wait for this era to be over.

Russ needs to stop making bonehead passes because he’s scared to shoot. Just shoot the ball! Mann needs to stop passing wide open catch and shoot 3s. Rather take the miss than these bonehead plays.
