Comfortable taking and making threes. Theoretically defensive-oriented due to his athleticism, like a 3&D guy, but he’s probably realistically only mediocre-at-best at each part of that equation. Broke into Portland’s rotation late in the 2020 season and did ok for them in a small role in the bubble and playoffs and mostly did fine but didn’t really impress either (or to the extent that he was impressed, it was “wow this undrafted rookie on a two-way deal is doing ok). Leverage that into a contract with New Orleans, was never able to get into the rotation (played 241 minutes, 141 of which came in May) and got cut this off-season.
