I feel good about our odds against the lakers,
Utah could go either way,
I say bucks nets and Philly would beat us in 7 games.
Even though they’ve played poorly to start I think denver could end up beating us again as well.
We’d be good against suns also
Just my gut feel.

Dunno about lose but I can tell you we’d beat the Jazz and Suns. Fakers would be a toss up assuming AD is healthy. Not scared of Doc and Co. or really the Bucks despite the other night. I guess that leaves the Nets.

Yeah, asking for certainty is a fool’s errand at this point. I think the Clippers can beat the Lakers or Nets and wouldn’t go so far as to call them “sure” losses. But I do think we’d be underdogs in those series. I think Milwaukee and Philly probably represent toss-ups, and I would give us a narrow edge over Utah and Phoenix.

I.e., much like last season, anything short of the WCF should be seen as a massive failure.

Like the distinction between “surely” and “favored.” Agree with your assessment, predicated on both our Clippers and those potential playoff opponents being healthy. An exception to this would be the Nets. I think the Nets even down one of their three superstars could take the Clippers based on both teams’ current form. But NBA teams evolve over the course of a season, and as a Clips fan I’m of course hopeful that Ty Lue and his charges will improve in due course.

This. The Clips, who are up against the hard cap, signed him to an above-minimum deal, and he’s mostly unplayable and effectively untradeable.
