I want to see how the Clips look in that last game against the Pelicans.

Really feels like the Lakers have all but given up on the season, and I don’t expect any of their 30-something year olds to suddenly play with any energy. Maybe they’ll fire Frank Vogel like the day before the play-in games to give that team at least something different and get guys up on their feet. While AD and Lebron are a scary duo, just feels like they’d be the team that’s not going to really be trying all that hard for the 8th seed.

Seriously, what is the front office doing? Those 2 are unplayable. Why aren’t they cut already? They need to be released and sign a backup PG! The backup PG needs the rest of the regular season to learn the offense! This isn’t something to do last minute before the playoffs.

Even tho the Pellies seem to be a bad match up for us and we seem to have had our way with the Lake show and WBs horrendous shooting? But I’ll say this: I’ll take our chances with either if we can have RoCo, Norm and one of the studs back and in decent form. As to the TWs, I’m predicting that they win their first round matchup if they stay healthy (which will be must see TV). Lake fans like to say nobody wants to face the Lakes in the POs but they’re wrong–it’s the TWs to be feared (and/or the Clips with key guys back).

Tough one. I really hope we beat T-wolves so we don’t have to answer your question! Having to choose, I think I would pick the Pel’s. For one game that you have to win, I think Lebron is still the best. Lakers would also have AD playing. Over a 7-game series, the better (Clips)team usually wins. In a one gamer, where the refs may be Lebron/Lakers biased, in what would most likely be a split crowd, against possibly the best player ever who may possibly be on his last go around as alpha dog of the league. Ooof, it would be a hell of a game.

at this point in the season, just feels like we want the team playing good basketball, and I think this game qualifies as that. The W/L result almost doesn’t matter. Little frustrating to be that close in a game you’re resting guys, but in the big picture, the rest is going to be more important if the Clippers want to make the playoffs.

I hope they take this “bubble” (4.5 games back of 7, 5.5 games ahead of 9) as an opportunity to get all their guys right before the play-in games. 11 games left, rest like 2 guys per game for the next 5, and use the last 6 to ramp up for the playoffs with as “full squad” as you’re going to get…

I don’t know, I was told the Lakers are the deepest team in the league. A team of THT, Reeves, Stanley Johnson, Ellington, and Dwight would give people PROBLEMS.

I love how they play and how they are coached. Their fighting spirit, never say die and next man up mentality is so crucial in team building. Team ball instead of iso ball is a beauty to watch. Hopefully, they continue to play the same once everybody is back. Too bad Preston and Scrubb aren’t able to get the valuable actual play reps and experience this opportunity presents. The young guys already had the playoff experience last year and now know what it takes to get to the next level. That will help them in the play-in, not to mention the guidance of the vets. If and when they do get in to the playoffs, that will just add another layer of experience and further strengthen their band of brothers attitude. Next year the Clippers will be serious contenders for the championship. Hopefully, we’ll have everybody back with that one goal. It is definitely the Clippers’ time to raise that banner! Let’s go, Clips!!!

How many teams are there that could play this well on a back to back without their two allstars, 3rd, 4th and 5th options on offense and deliver the kind of performance our guys did tonight? How would the Warriors have fared without Steph, Klay, Wiggins, Draymond and Poole? The Suns without CP, Booker, Ayton, Bridges and one of their Cams? BLOWOUTS.

I’m so proud of these guys I hope Clippers fans who are on social media are lavishing them with the love they deserve after this one.

The one bummer for me right now is coming to terms with just how devastating the Wolves are and the inevitability that we are going to have to face them. At least we get a second shot to stay alive facing the 9/10 winner at home so that’s some consolation. Whoever the #2 ends up being could be in for a serious reckoning. If we end up having some freakish win against them and the Suns have to square off against them that would be an absolutely horrible draw for a team that’s worked so hard to win 60+ games. Could end up being like what we did to the Warriors in 2019….
