I think the bucks probly value avoiding injury over that no. 1 spot–so expect them to rest the key guys.

I think it comes down to who you want to face, doesn’t it? If the standings tell you anything, you want Memphis. But it really doesn’t matter IF we can get back KL and Norm. Another consideration is trying to get a PO berth after one rather than two grueling games.

I would rather have us play PHX over Memphis as well. If we can get NP back, then I like our chances against PHX.

I’d much rather play Phoenix than Memphis, but I also wouldn’t want to risk tanking and then having to win a single win-or-go-home game against a Pelicans squad that has also kicked our ass this year. The Spurs have also beaten us, and *anything* can happen in a single game. We probably lose in 5 to the Griz vs 6 for the Suns, but I’d rather lose in 5 to the Griz than not even make the playoffs to begin w/.

Brutal way to lose, but one of those games, maybe you’re thankful you get to play the next night.

Although after this one went to OT, I even expect more guys to rest tomorrow. Although the Bucks are also coming off an OT game and if anything have to travel further for the game tomorrow. Still the Bucks are a game away from the #1 shot in the east, so feels like they’ll still be playing for something.

I’m hoping we see a linuep of tomorrow of like:
Moon, Kennard, Mann, Coffey, Zu
Boston, Hood, Hart

We clinched a playoff berth tonight for a myriad of complex reasons. I know I’m redundant on this but still wondering if our master stroke be to send scrubs to MN for the 1st play–even with B-Shaw, rest all our main rotation guys and have practice instead, then host one serious home play in game against the beleaguered 9/10 winner. It’s likely we’ll end up facing Phoenix anyway so why not be as well-rested as possible? The travel to Phoenix is also just a puddle jump so I’m wondering if that’s what TL et al will aim for.

Too much PG iso ball in the last couple minutes when his shot was not falling. Would have been nice to see them working the ball for a better shot. Fouling DeMar on the 3 ball was a killer, most likely would have won the game without that. Probably good to get mistakes like that out of the way in probably a meaningless game except for being a painful loss in a game they mostly played some great ball.

Yea, “bad” is probably a bit harsh. Bad “shooting” night for sure though – his jumper just looked *way* off tonight. He also had a handful of careless TOs, but overall rather than “bad,” “inefficient” is probably a better characterization.
