The end of this game was BS. Refs really do everything possible to screw us over in close games. Wish we could’ve won this one…tomorrow is gonna be ugly. I expect PG13, Reggie, MM, and Batum to sit out.

So I wouldn't necessarily say rest is more important than chemistry as a general statement, but rest is probably more important than chemistry specifically for us. So, for example, if you replace like 60% of your roster and suffer a ton of injuries and can't build any continuity as a result (*stares at the other LA team)? Yea, you probably shouldn't be strutting around thinking you can just flip a switch whenever guys get healthy, and instead should be doing everything possible to try to get guys to gel, even if that means you might be overplaying them a bit. But for the Clips, the core has largely been together for a few years now, and as great as it was to have Bledsoe, KJ, and Justise earlier in the season, they were newcomers too, so it's not like we suddenly crippled the locker room - if anything sending Bev out was what I was worried most about. I don't think we should outright sit guys, but I'm all for limiting their minutes and giving Moon some time in situations where we normally wouldn't.

One of the more noteworthy things about PGs performance against the Jazz was just how much fresher his legs and overall vibes were than all the players on both teams. He truly was on another level. It’s a stark reminder of just how much more important rest is than chemistry—especially with a team like this that more often than not finds a way to gel mid game no matter how far they get down. I’m for resting guys as much as possible now. I think we have secured the 8th seed with the Utah win.
