It is frustrating when we actually play like a serious pro-level team on Sunday, and today, Coach does the head scratcher again with line ups with tired legs.

Just taking a cursory look at the rest of the season, nothing easy. Half of our games in March are against really good teams. We’re not going to win everything, but we have to stay healthy and keep improving.

Will need to rewatch Bones’ shifts. How he is going to play is really important with Russ out.

If the team is tired, play guys who are fresh more minutes. If the other team is in foul trouble and/or running a zone, draw up some plays going towards the basket. If the other team is running a big lineup, don’t force your best players to expend energy guarding PFs/Cs in the post. Or, in even simpler terms – play around your strengths, and attack the opponents’ weaknesses. Ty did none of these things tonight, and hasn’t for pretty much the entire season – this team has won on talent alone.

Now could this all magically change in the postseason? Sure, it’s possible. But am I expecting that to happen? No. Why would I? Because we got lucky a few years ago before Kawhi got Jingled? I’m not that naive. I’ll happily eat my words if this team starts playing smart in the postseason, but in the meantime I’m in the “this team is dumb until they prove otherwise” mode.

This team won’t make it out of first round with this effort and coaching.
