Been awhile that Kawhi had a bad game. Instead of being full on aggressive, how bout trusting your teammates? Norm was feeling it and Mook had a pretty good game. Even if the team trades for Van Fleet, what makes Kawhi and PG think to pass to anyone else other than iso or to each other.

They face the same Buck team next Friday at home. Anything less than a victory will be considered a failure and this winning the past few games will seem fraudulent.

So…I was worried that after all of Lebron’s complaining about the Celtics foul that refs were going to over adjust.
Tonight against the Pacers the Lakers shot 31 free throws, the Pacers only got six for the entire game.
And after all that writhing on the floor in Boston…the facts…
“the Lakers have been involved in 34 incorrect calls/non-calls in the last two minutes this season, and 21 of them have gone in their favor. That’s more than 28 other teams. Indeed, only the Mavericks have had more total incorrect whistles go their way, with 23.”

There is going to come a game where both KL and PG can’t hit the side of a barn, and they will have to pass it to a teammate — that teammate will take a good shot, and it will be the difference in the game.
Tonight, Norm was hot, and he was hitting from deep and at the rim, the Bucks could not stop him, we have to feed our player with the hot hand.
I agree with the comments above about this being a replay of blowing leads and reverting back into iso ball that failed in the Bubble.
However, we only lost by 1-point. A strange game, late start, we’ll see how we bounce back against the NY Knicks.
OT — I don’t have cable, and I was watching the TNT Overtime feed — it was wierd angles.

Like the Philly game, Clips blew a 20 point lead to lose by 1. Giannis demonstrated that he’s a far better player than either PG or Kawhi or both combined. Tip your cap to him. He sticks with the team concept and the team sticks with him. Don’t sleep on him for MVP. He played like one tonight. Our 2 guys did not. The iso ball Q4 was a disaster and I hope it will be a lesson to the team. Both PG and Kawhi played like trash. They didn’t move the ball, trust their teammates when facing double teams or when they had suboptimal spacing. On the last play, Reggie was wide open for the 3. You can’t tell me his wide open 3 pt shot would’ve been worse than the garbage that PG and Kawhi took at the end. Powell played his best game of the year. Didn’t foul much on defense and his sense of timing to answer every big Giannis shot (until PG/Kawhi decided to play 2 vs 5) was big.

Ty Lue also disappointed. Your offense has to be more creative than iso ball and if your stars aren’t buying into what you’re selling, it’s time to have a sit down with them.

The team played more than well enough to beat a championship caliber team on the road. The two stars didn’t meet the test, and it wasn’t just about making or missing shots. It was defense, shot selection, running offense, passing, managing possessions. A lot of what I saw tonight from PG/Kawhi was pretty disappointing.

The fact that they can’t even run a pick and roll and try to get a switch away from Jrue Holiday is insane. They just kept just iso ing up over and over again despite the same results. All while letting Giannis play one on one with Zu for the entire second half.

I don’t understand how morris and powell destroy all game and yet pg and kawhi jack up contested jumpshot misses for 4 fucking minutes straight. absolutely disgusting.
