I would have at least waited until the new acquisitions hit the floor to judge their most recent trades as a negative, and even then if someone like EG falters I know he’s about a summer salary exchange. But Wall for the MLE or whatever you call it when we are over the cap? We cough it up when it comes to the basics. I was never big on that move nor was I vocally aghast, but then again that’s not my job. They get a D- for being able to turn that 6 million into a trade able asset.

Well, I disagree. They’ve done a mediocre job and the product is mediocre. This is coming from someone who feels they understand these most recent deadline moves. They managed to stay at what would have been the same level of relevancy had it not been for other teams leveling up, and also added more manageable trade assets. But from Jerome Robinson til adding another guard (Wall) on a team with too many of them, our FO has fumbled the basics.

TL’s same old same old classic Offense (MM) over Defense (Roco) preference as HC.
Hoping FO instructs TL to prioritize Defense.
Please give to Roco the MM minutes.

Bucks rally and Momentum began late in the 2nd happened as MM came in for Roco.
And TL still played MM majority of 3rd after what happened in the closing of the 2nd qtr.

Clips need a Defense first HC.
Clips cannot outgun the powerful teams, seriously, with PG, MM ??

I think that ship already sailed. Prime PG was a gorgeous specimen but I would have taken a healthy and spry Wiggins back in return for him before the Dubs got wise. The one saving grace in all of this is that the front office has done yoman’s work with #2 picks and player development overall (Oturu not withstanding). Terence, Coffey, Boston Bones and probably Moussa too are all not far off from late first round picks so not a totally disastrous gamble.

Let’s hope Kawhi wasn’t present for personal reasons and it’s not because he’s furious with the FO for not delivering a point guard. Lawrence frank and TL were making themselves Uber available tonight to unpack all of our moves.

I believe PG is aware of how pissed Kawhi is and that’s what his open recruiting of Russ tonight was really all about.

Kawhi brought some of this on himself by not simply joining the lakers whereupon we would have Shai right now and probably way beyond where the Thunder are right now.

I’m still glad we tried and it’s not totally over. But it’s not looking good either. .

Disagree.

Wall should’ve been a low-risk move. Whoever decided he needs to keep getting minutes is at fault, but no one knows if that was the FO, coach, Kawhi/PG13, or some combination decision.

FO got a good backup C. Other teams probably weren’t willing to trade early in the season.

PG13 needs to get fired. Lue maybe for allowing this nonsense. But the FO has done a pretty damn good job.
