Blazers fans have reason to be pissed. Clips won but we have arguably even more reasons to be pissed. This isn’t like a negotiation where both sides being unhappy is often a sign of a good compromise – bad officiating ruins games for everyone. Every game Scott Foster and refs like him officiate is one game too many.

P.S. PG13 playing at an All-NBA level despite the bone edema is amazing.

Yeah, that’s not always called with 4.8 seconds left. But he got shoved pretty notably on his drive, and if they didn’t call it, the narrative would be the Blazers won on a bail out.

I was all ready to give up on this one. Down 6 with 2 minutes left, down 5 with a minute left, felt like was over. Very similar to the Detroit game, but maybe felt even more out of hand given the talent of the Portland team, with like CJ hit that big 3 to put them up 5 with a minute left, and Norm getting an open corner 3, I thought for sure was going to go in. But that game also the Clips were without PG, and he just willed the Clips to a win in this one.

If I were a Blazers fan, I would probably be a bit mad losing on a foul call. Reminded me of the Bucks/Suns game yesterday, but at least this wasn’t at the buzzer and they still had a shot to win the game. But, I guess the Suns/Clips fight for the 2 seed maybe gets evened up as far as fortuitous foul calls.

Wonder if we get the hat trick on reclamation vets with Boogie after Nic and Raj? Don’t want to get too excited but he still moves well, rips down boards, passes great and his stroke looks sweet. I know he’ll never be the rim protector Zu is but it’s nice to have another bull in the china shop.
