Great performance from Leonard against the Pistons. I’m happy that he is showing up.

Zu is a younger and better player than Lopez. Lopez shoots 3s. That is his advantage. I remember a few years ago, Zu wanted to shoot 3s, and Lue finally let him shoot one. Zu made it, if my memory serves me well. Let him take 1 or 2 per game. It wouldn’t be any worse than watching Collins shoot them.

Is it possible to play Lopez with Zu? Start Leonard, Harden, Dunn, Lopez, and Zu. I would like to see it experimented with. Have Yanik and Collins play on the 2nd unit.

Finally, we are seeing the young guys play.. That’s a good thing.

It’s nice to be winning again.

Probably not Vooch but in theory you’re on the right track. The best possible trade involving Zu would be he and DJ for I-Hart and our 2026 pick back from OKC. If I’m OKC I’m not hitting the panic button yet. But if this bullying in the front court continues they may have to explore options. This will depend on if we can win enough games to push what looks like a top 5 pick up to a #15 pick. If it’s the latter then the Thunder could be persuaded into a deal.

I wonder if Zu can shoot 3’s and Ty just doesn’t let him lol. He’d open up the floor for everyone. Most of the bigs in the league shoot 3’s besides Gobert. Look at Andre Drummond, he never really shot 3’s but now he’s attempting them and making them. Not at a high clip of course but at least he has that option.

I’d trade Zu for Nikola Vucevic(stretch big that can put up decent numbers, yes I know he’s old lol), Coby White and 2 first rounders if I can.

The thing about Zu vs Lopez isn’t one shoots 3s and the other doesn’t. Zu is by far the better player. The problem is… TY LUE! Khyber and I drone on and on to give him the damn ball, but also get Kris Dunn the hell out of his lineups! Zu is being double, triple, and even sometimes quadruple teamed. Zu needs shooters. He’d do better with Lopez than Dunn. Zu and 4 shooters, never Dunn until his shot is respected. If you HAVE TO put Dunn in for defense with him, you better have the other do something other than stand around and watch the double and triple teams collapse on him.

Lopez played well as an outlet option with the starters this game. You know how Ty Lue was using him before? With Chris Paul and as the main scoring option on the 2nd unit. The 2nd unit was slow as hell with 2 immobile vets on offense and defense. Ty Lue kept the ultra-fast Collins with that 2nd unit forever.

Ty Lue has no clue what players mesh and is just getting lucky with injury-forced lineups.

Clippers FO is not good at draft picking. But, if 3 unprotected 1st round picks are offered for Zu, have to be seriously considered.

At this point, any good basketball, any win — greatly appreciated.

DJJ coming back is going to help Kawhi a lot and JVG needs to wake the fuck up. Kawhi got gassed and missed everything in the 4th, even layups, because he was chasing Avdjia all over the court and getting beat. I was wondering why Kawhi stayed in when he was visibly gassed. They could’ve put Miller, Sanders, Dunn on him for 2-3 minutes to let Kawhi rest a bit.
