Definitely hard to predict this one? Would think given the prior game vs them, we have to come out with a bit of fire. And presumably we have to guard avidja and holiday better, as well as rebound, so then we should be ok. Of course we beat the dubs last year on the road in a similar situation, but of course that was a completely different team with harden, Powell, and zu. But guess hopefully are vets step up here, as well as mathurin, and we make a very, very strong commitment to rebounding

IJax not even being upgraded to doubtful really sux. That sprain must be really, really bad and his absence puts so much pressure on Brook. Is there any silver lining for that at all? I can’t see one. I guess Collins has to come off the bench and play back up 5. But if that happens, there’s no chance that DJJ/Dunn don’t start and the Blazers would just love that to happen.
Yeah, the team wouldn’t be THAT much better even if IJax was a go. Math, Dunn, DJJ just not good enough for us to compete. Gotta be a bit depressing for Kawhi to end his stellar season this way.
Is Sanders the answer? To me he’s deserving of starting but with Ty, fugetaboutit. Will we get blown out up there? I don’t think so cuz the Blazers are just not THAT good. Plenty of warts there. But they have the clear advantage based on home court and the muscle memory that they clobbered us, at our place, on the last meeting. A clips W here would be the biggest W of the year.
