I don’t understand the value of Amir Coffey in the closing lineup. It should be Terance Mann and/or Dunn. Need a second ball handler who can attack, space the floor, and create off the dribble.

Coaching staff needs to recognize that Harden gets tired and when he does he becomes more controlling of the ball and makes mistakes. Make the game easier on him by emphasizing early pushes and swings of the ball. I’d rather James be a trailing shot maker, driver or a passer at the end of a Q4 possession than dominating the ball at the beginning of the possession. It will preserve him, allow him to be the clutch sniper that we know he is when he has his legs under him, and get a lot of quality touches for other players who can break the game open.

Much to improve, but still game 4 of 82.

Norman is our primary scorer, Period. It’s not Harden, and it’s not even Leonard when he returns. It’s Norm. Norm should have taken the last shot.

Too much ball-pounding by Harden. He needs to get the offense moving quicker.

TMann needs to be a scoring threat. He isn’t at this time.

KPJ was better but he needs to improve quickly.

DJJ, and Dunn played very well. Amir was fine. Skai was terrific.

Portland took away Zu as they packed it in against him. Harden had no counter.

WTF was that at the end. Why did Harden throw a crappy pass to Zu at the end of regulation? If you are going with a lob to win, why wasn’t Skai Jones in the game?

A lot of this loss goes to Lue.

This team has to hunt more corner 3s to get separation. Doesn’t happen with James dominating the ball so much.

I don’t like how the Clips have closed any of these games. I think the team is missing Terance Mann on the floor in these minutes. He provides a much needed change of pace, a second ballhandler and passer. We saw it when the Clippers turned a -4 deficit into an 8 point lead where his activity and passing generated 3PAs for Norm to get them the lead.

I also don’t see the need for Kevin Porter Jr. Yeah, he had a better offensive game today, but he wasn’t good for the role the team seems to envision for him. He doesn’t create a multiplier effect on the floor and he isn’t a great bucket getter. I would much rather have Terance Mann play more minutes handling the ball when Harden isn’t on the floor and I’d like to see Jordan Miller, b/c that’s a dude who gets buckets in the flow of the offense and has a skill level that I don’t think KPJ has.

Kai Jones was great tonight. Mann played a much better game today. I’m not on the Amir bandwagon. Norm was amazing.
