I think Norm is better in a vacuum, but Lonzo would fill more needs (i.e. playmaking, rebounding), but Lonzo is never healthy – is he still wearing BBB shoes these days?

True lonzo hasn’t been in the greatest of health and his circus pops is always another negative but I think it’s pretty even trade but still norm seems to have more killer instinct

Bulls came to my mind too, because they could actually use some size and have a glut of guards. They’re going to want to pay LaVine, but are they a team that is going to be willing to pay the tax? Feels like they’re more likely to move guys like Coby White but maybe you could wrestle a different guard from them.

If you can get like Ball for Morris and maybe 2nd rounder, that would be nice fit for both sides, but still Ball probably has a higher value since he’s only 24 vs. them taking on an aging PF who is owed a lot of money. Not sure Ball is worth Morris and Mann, but that deal might have more legs for both sides.

Caruso would be great, but I just don’t see a good deal for him given his salary. The trade linked doesn’t work since DJJ and Hood are free agents.

Which made me wonder if they’d actually move DeRozan. He’s coming off a career year, and there are still questions if long term he’s a good fit with LaVine. They were a great story last season with them back in the playoff picture, but they’re still not close to being a championship contender. DeRozan is owed a lot of money, and if they can get back a star-level haul (which probably the Clips don’t have to offer back), I think they’d have to consider already selling high on DeRozan.

Yeah , could look at it as the asking prices for other players brogdon/turner etc could be more attainable to teams like us with lower draft Capitol
Might need a third team as pacers and other rebuilders might not want Morris/vets ..
I don’t wanna trade Mann or Luke
Too much but I could see pacers and other rebuilders wanting Tmann and or Luke

I kinda value Powell more then lonzo honestly, lonzo for fit at needed pg for sure but in the long run I think Powell serves us better

Isn’t lonzo having knee problems? Rumored he could be out most of next season.
Maybe we can nab him for some of our depth .
Consolidate one of our wings congestion spots
And a maybe get lonzo after allstar break or something?

Yeah even a morris like Mann and whatever picks we got outbid by other teams.
Read a hypothetical hawks raps
Trade for siakim and it had capela or John Collins along with huerter and 2 first rounders
In the next couple drafts I like our first being 6 years away

I think Siakam is probably close to untouchable – young, versatile wings are coveted assets, Toronto isn’t tanking, and he’s on a reasonable contract for someone of his caliber. Unfortunately I don’t think we have anyone/thing to offer that would reasonably get Toronto to bite.
