Ive been curious about Mo Bamba for a bit now. His 7’10” wingspan would be huge against the bigger teams like The Nuggets and Lakers. With our new emphasis on player development, maybe the Clips can get him to reach his potential. I just don’t know what kind of trade make sense for a player like him.

I mean, I think Rondo could help out a bit (in the postseason – he’d be deadweight during the regular season). That being said, I sure as hell wouldn’t be *excited* if the team added him, especially for some portion of the MLE.

Lou should be pretty easy to re-trade because of his expiring 8M deal. I think you’d be able to avoid an Iggy-Memphis situation.

I don’t think so. It’s a 32 year old (who they don’t really need with Jrue) and a 34 year old (who won’t play for them) for a 23 year old starter and a 36 year old. Lonzo being a starter who is a decade younger than everyone else in the deal makes his dramatically more valuable than the others.

Lous value is crap unless he decides he will actually play for a team he’s traded to!
He basically has a no trade clause
Without having a no trade clause.
If the team Lou is traded to isn’t a contender then Lous value in a trade is essentially just an expiring contract.
Maybe if Lou was traded to a third team/contender and that team sent something of significance that pelicans wanted , a trade could work for Lou.
