You can scoff at Rondo’s stats this year but he was excellent in the playoffs just last year. Blake didn’t dunk for two years then he dunked in the first Nets game. James Harden showed up to the Rockets camp fat. Now he’s getting triple doubles. We’re being reminded of the difference when a player is motivated, and Rondo will be: A third chip will solidify his future Hall of Fame induction.

We don’t need him to be all star Rondo, just a steady hand and a good eye. And to hold other players accountable. There was way too much slacking in the team last year, leaving the bubble etc.

I think Skip Bayless is right about Rondo. I’m not worried about the team buying into his leadership— Pat Bev was standing right next to him on the sidelines. Yeah Lonzo is a lot younger obviously but he came with a much higher price tag, would’ve had to give up Zubac, Pat Bev or Luke Kennard in addition to Lou.

And the team is already playing better without Lou’s inconsistency. Respect to Lou but his Clippers term ran its course when he got the chicken wings

All I’m gonna say is, our no.1 guy called for BB IQ during the last interview of the last season. It was like a help scream. Since then, we upgrade a lot of IQ with Batum over JMG, Ibaka over Harrell and Kennard over Shamet. There was still one piece left and Rajon Rondo is like top 5 BB IQ in the league atm. The ties he belongs is involves Jokic-Cp3-LBJ-Doncic maybe Harden. I’m good with the outcome as long as Kawhi satisfied with the FO doing his best in their ability. I can see us beating Lakers in a playoff series more comfortable as of today.
