I watched highlights of last season kennard and sham hasn’t had one game like the plenty of games kennard was mixing it up midrange threes etc.
obviously kennard was getting mad minutes on a sorry pistons team but besides shams playoff three he hasn’t shown much else.
Sham either shoots a three or drives to the rack and gets blocked trying to dunk . Easy for a defender to cover that . Kennards mid range game is nice
It’s gonna open some shit up for us imo.
And neither sham or kennard is a great defender so that argument means squat.

I wouldn’t be quite that harsh in terms of who the Clips could land in free agency and the impact they could have on the team, but I definitely agree that I feel let down that we weren’t able to land Rubio or CP3. At this point I’m wondering if the Clips just couldn’t find any decent trade value for Lou.

This is kind of willfully incorrect–Kennard has been demonstrably better than Landry so far in their NBA careers and national folks are unanimously praising the upgrade, from what I’ve seen. Sentimentality for Shamet and sadness that he’s gone is understandable, but let’s not let that turn into an unfair welcome for Kennard, who is an exciting addition.

Kennard is better then sham right now, mgruder is worth nothing and now we can actually sign a real pg/backup center
To add to the team, we’re gonna be a better team imo,
Also FA opens on Friday Lou can still be traded and a ton more dominoes will fall opening up other options.
