not too worried with age as much as I was with pg. pg barely got over the rim when he dunked. and got blocked dunks a few times. cp and brooks don’t play very athletic and know their role.

He had an MCL in the past, but that should be long healed. I’m pretty sure the only thing limiting his minutes is his shooting.

I don’t have some medical record, but it seems to be understood that Dunn has some knee issues that limit his minutes to like 20 minutes a game. We all cover a lot of data so I could be wrong but I think he’s a plug and play weapon.

Totally. I see the regular 9 man rotation as Zu, Collins, Kawhi, Harden, Beal, then CP, DJJ, Lopez and Bogi. Nico will be fine being used as needed and I also think Dunn will be fine in a role as a defensive specialist. We tend to forget that Dunn is kind of a health restricted player himself so he can only be deployed in smaller doses. Between injuries and load management there should be enough for all concerned to be invested in the bigger picture.

Unfortunately, injuries are part of the pro-game. Hopefully, not severe ones. Miller and the other young guys have to stay ready.

Also, the Clippers are a top-notch organization. Better to play for the best vs. a dumpster fire team.

You’re both right, but selfishly I welcome JM back because he’s at least serviceable in case of emergency. For example, if Beals injured and it’s a B2B without Kawhi, we’re probably looking at DJJ and Bogi starting which will leave a bit of a void at wing off the bench. Would be useful during the regular season as to not put too much burden on Nico.

Looks like the Knicks are interested in Coffey. Thank god it’s an eastern conference team because he’s going to ball wherever he goes and if it were the wolves or some other WC competitor it would suck big time.

I’m not surprised about cutting PBJ, but I am surprised that Jordan Miller agreed to signing with the Clippers. Who is his agent? It seems like career suicide to stick with the Clippers this season after his showing in Summer League. Surely some other team would be willing to give him a 2-way where he might actually play to get a contract. At this point, Miller’s gotta be praying that multiple wings on the Clippers get injured for him to play.

Law Murray reporting that the Clippers are waiving PBJ and re-signing Jordan Miller to a two-way contract.

I’m surprised Miller was willing to take that and that no other team, even the shitty ones, were willing to sign him to a minimum deal – glad he’s back though.

I’m also surprised they’re cutting PBJ loose – I know his defense was pretty bad in SL, but guys who can shoot like that at that size and age aren’t easy to find.
