Atleast rondo has taken himself out the game from wanting to win and getting heated and wanting to fight players,
Not some stupid ass dirty strip club chicken during a pandemic when everyone was supposed to be on lockdown. He knew the rules he didn’t give 2 shits about it
Was clearly not in championship mode
And clearly added to himilating the clippers and us fans!

Your right , hopefully pg13 and kawhi don’t need to waste all there energy dribbling around at the top of the key as much on offense imitating point guard duties as much and can now play a little more off the ball(esp. Pg13 who coughs it up some) and rondo can get guys into there sweet spots.
I heard flom on the podcast say he doesn’t want rondo with the ball in his hands during the last seconds of a tight game, or he doesn’t want the ball in rondos hands more then pg13 and kawhi’s, he wants it in PG13’s and kawhis ,
Just because we got rondo doesn’t mean he’s our go to savior at the end of games. Maybe depending on the situation rondo could get the ball to be the guy that assists it again for the winning shot
But tight end of games the plays are still gonna be for our open shooters primarily kawhi pg13.
But the thought I think showman is rondo making it easier for kawhi and pg13, which in turn should make them better especially pg13.

Idk he’s on the injury report, Lucas also mentioned this on his podcast as well, but said think it’s a minor thing (whether it’s real or not) they could of just listed as that to keep him from getting injured before trading him

Looking back, the Clippers were trying to sign Rondo as a FA, but no cap room, giving up two second and swapping Lou’s salary — it made sense. Rondo and every player should make as much money as they can. This should be good for both teams.
