He handles the boards and rim protection. He did get 20 mins in Game 1, but I’m not sure if it was/is enough. It’s weird how he has such a huge impact on improving the Clippers defense, and now he’s dropped so low in the rotation just because the “small ball” lineup won vs. the Mavs? I guess I have to keep the faith in Lue’s decisions and adjustments. We need Game 2 badly. These are not the Mavs, and Conley is probably coming back. It’s also concerning that Ty Lue did not say that TMann will be getting more minutes.

Maybe coaches get mental fatigue too. When Reggie picked up #5 he should subbed in Bev to slow Mitchell down and then we would have had Reggie available to possibly make another “Detroit” bomb to tie it up at the buzzer. It’s sooo critical in those situations that you have a primary ball handler that is a threat to pull up or kick to someone else. Reggie isn’t Dame or Mitchell or Luka but he’s the best one way offensive threat on the team to make those type of pull-up daggers. PG should be but Reggie is more fearless.

Does he need less minutes? Maybe. If his shot isn”t falling and he isn’t contributing maybe less minutes could be a thing but he is the most experienced PG we have. He honestly is our second best PG behind a healthy Pat Bev. But minutes adjustments should happen to all who aren’t playing well that game except for KL and PG.

LOL you do realize he was the catalyst for that surge in the 2nd qtr right? Some of you sound just as ridiculous as those in the media with all these damn bias takes! Again, rewatch games & give non bias “analysis”.. It’s also funny you left out the main person who NEEDS to see the floor, & that’s Pat Bev! His shot hasn’t fallen since coming back & he can’t push the pace like Rondo but he’s hands down the best guard defender.. Clips won’t win shit by not giving him 20+ min going forward, he’s not facing Luka anymore!

Again, Lue needs to start prioritizing defense cuz they won’t make it out this round if he doesn’t! + IF they’re able to make it out the West, they’re gonna have to defend to even have a chance at the Nets.. They’re fuckin crazy if they, or anyone, thinks they can score with the Nets.. Great defense leads to easier offense.. The shot making will come but the defensive 1st mentality should be the top priority.. It’s the only way they’re gonna be able to get to 16!
