I agree. We are going to see what this team (and Doc) is made of. If they are a championship contender, they will play well enough w/o PG to get #2 or #3 seed and they will go into playoffs with some of our 2nd tier guys having confidence that they can contribute if called upon.

While it’s certainly not good news it likely isn’t the death knell either. We’re not winning the #1 seed. We are currently 1 game out of the #2 seed. Denver and Utah have much tougher schedules than we do to close out the season. Morris looked good and so did Coffey. We should have more than enough to steady the ship and let him rest until absolutely necessary. Let’s shore up those last two roster spots over the next week and stay in the hunt. Sometimes finding the way forward without a great player can be a bonus when they do finally come back for the playoffs.

Bev has been injured multiple times this season as well. i get that precautionary/extra rest during the regular season is supposed to keep the players fresh during the playoffs. but it doesn’t guarantee or prevent injuries from happening in the playoffs. with the injury history of some of these players this year, i’m losing confidence they’ll be able to stay healthy through 4 straight series in the playoffs.
