Look into Browns game and he is like a taller and bigger T-Mann.
Smart player, Coach’s son, play 1-5, handle/pass/defend/rebound and even with the uptick of their shooting in senior year.
T-Mann is obviously lighter on his feet but Brown seems like a bit tighter on his dribble and more creative passer.
Will be fun watching them playing together.

Norm is probably more impactful because of his sheer volume scoring, yes, but Batum’s switchability on defense is so much harder to replace on this roster. Now, if you think late season Nico is going to be his average level of play this season that makes trading him away a bit less painful, but I think Nico has at least one good year left in him – plus he isn’t playing for France this Summer so he should hopefully have relatively fresh legs.

If MM isn’t traded, it doesn’t matter whether we get Harden because Ty will ride MM and this season directly into the dumpster.

Great points from everyone about how good Norm can be, but having Norm dominate the 2nd unit, it stifles the growth of T. Mann and Bones.
For the Harden trade to work, Morey has to get Norm back.

But, if Norm goes to Philly, then it is addition by subtraction if Coach Lue will actually play T. Mann and Norm 25-29 min. for the regular season. That second unit could be really dangerously good with T. Mann, Bones, KJ, Kobe and Plums.

Yea I’m surprised so many people throw Norm in a deal for Harden seemingly as easily as Mook. Norm has real value, was the frontrunner for 6th man of the year for a long time last season, and is such an efficient scorer off the bench. I do think a full season of him, we saw his limitations as a playmaker and on defense, but just as a guy to get you buckets off the bench or on nights when you’re missing Kawhi and/or PG, I think he has an important role on this team.

Including PJ in a Harden deal does get tricky, where maybe you’re probably talking either including ALL your PFs from last season (Morris, Batum, and RoCo) or Norm. I mean even if you lost all your PF rotation from last year, you still would have PJ and KJ for those minutes, and probably a lot more of Kawhi at the 4, and maybe Kobe proves himself worthy of real rotation minutes sooner rather than later, so maybe you’d still be okay. Or you lose Norm since you’re probably pretty good at guard with Harden, Russ, Mann, and Bones. Tough decision.

Still feels like Norm is a more impactful player than Nico is at this point in his career, if the choice came down between those two.
