Moussa? No, I still like him. He has good rebounding skills and demonstrates them. Unlike Boston, whose skill is “scorer” at which he doesn’t seem to really excel. I mean, it says a lot about a player that he does not excel at anything against the opponents 3rd stringers.

Yes, Moussa is not great and has serious limitations offensively, but he does what he’s asked to do.

What’s your feeling about the Lakes pulling something out of the hat trade wise? They did it last year and I’m sure Pelinka’s pulling whatever levers he can. It’s tempting to sell that org short, but that would be dumb thinking.

Jazz ran away with last nite’s game–moderate minutes only + plus a pretty young team. They’ll be ready to smash the Lake show into smithereens. I see Lakes hanging early and then fading. The Ham haters will be spewing. Downside is that the Jazz are a legit threat.

PJ Tucker + Brandon Boston Jr for Dorian Finney Smith works in the trade machine. Brooklyn needs an actual scorer like Boston Jr on their roster. They’re very unskilled offensively. Brooklyn also saves over 10M as Tucker’s contract is 1 yr shorter than DFS’ and Boston Jr is on an expiring deal.

Still don’t know if I want the trade, b/c Amir Coffey is about the same size but DFS just has a more experience and has played in the playoffs.

Just listened to that podcast. Thought it was good. If I were not a fan of the Clips I would agree that they need to be considered a legitimate title contender. The trade suggestion by Lowe for Finney-Smith or Royce O’Neale is interesting. I suspect that DAL, LAL,GSW and Phx are going to talk to Brooklyn as well about those guys.

I suppose a reason to root for the Grizzlies is so that they win enough games to where they don’t get an elite draft pick because next yr, that team with a healthy Ja and Adams could be a top 5 team in the West.

As for today’s games:

Rockets v Celtics – Rooting for the Rockets. Keeping the Rockets in the play in mix to hold LAL, Utah, Phx at bay is a good thing for LAC.

GSW v Milwaukee – Don’t really care on this one. GSW wouldn’t beat us in a 7 game series, but they might get hot enough to take out an opponent for us. I’ll root for GSW though Giannis is likely to curb stomp them as GSW will be on the 2nd night of a back to back.

ORL v OKC – ORL. Waiting for the OKC bubble to burst. Control Jaylen Williams and I think that team becomes very beatable.

Pels v Mavs – Mavs. Keep Pels fighting for the play in.

Bulls v Spurs – Spurs. I like seeing Wemby get better despite a terrible roster and I’m rooting for the new look Raptors to make the play in. Bulls should probably go into exile and hang their heads in shame after the fiasco by their fans.

Knicks v Grizzlies – NYK. I’m originally a New Yorker so I root for the Knicks when the Clips aren’t playing. That said, I think the Knicks are good and are 1 trade away from being able to beat Boston/Milwaukee in a 7 game series.

Wizards v Hawks – Battle of two terrible, underachieving teams. Only news to be made here is whether quality assets like Kuzma and DeJounte Murray get moved to good teams.
