True about the physical play, which I don’t mind so much, but cut out the flopping and swiping upward with the ball to try to draw a foul. CP and Harden are the absolute worst and most annoying to me. The flopping has spread like a disease the last couple years.

I always admired Covington from afar and was really jazzed when the Clippers managed to snag him. Never expected that, what a coup by the front office to get *both* Powell and RoCo. The roster needed a talent infusion and it seemed like one was coming, and I suspect this was it (barring further slick moves?). As it is, think we’re good to go for next season’s title run.

We inherited RoCo’s Bird rights so we could have offered him a max deal if it were warranted. We have early Bird on Nic because he’s played 2 seasons with us so we can give him the average veteran’s salary of around $11 million if need be. That should be more than enough to keep him. Not sure how Coffey’s extension might work. He’s been a 2 way for three years so perhaps there’s some type fo Bird rights for him? Like Rob said Lucas will know.

I’m not a CBA guy at all, Lucas is the man there, but I believe this is something that was eligible once he was traded. I don’t believe Batum is eligible due to the player option or the way his contract was created, but not sure.
