A backup PF is always more useful than another guard that would never get minutes.

But, mental health permitting, he is another solution at the 4 with athleticism abounding.

I wonder if it is a panicky anti-Gafford, anti-Lively move, particularly given the timing.

I don’t see him playing, but if Kawhi misses any games and we are getting slaughtered on the boards, you never know.

It would be nice to see him against the Rockets.

We’ve been carrying 2 Max salary guys for this entire 213 era, and we have to fill out the team with productive players. Even with Steve Ballmer’s riches, not an easy task to pay that ridiculous tax (or any tax).

The Draft is a crap shoot — will any of these 18, 19, 20 year old young men turn into regular NBA rotation players?

Works for me. I think this was a play for next season. He’s young and has experience.

Now it all depends on what’s going inside his brain. If all of his screws are secure, I think it’s a good move.

It would be nice to see him play today.

The Clippers ending the season with the young guys would be great.

At least hoping that him and Moose will improve each other in practice.
Not sure how to feel about Primo. He looks serviceable as a big guard but that position should be the least worried as of now.
Hope all the available young guys play tomorrow. Feels like Brown will have a very good game. Let’s see.

It’s questionable that Primo could even be good enough to be getting minutes on a PG/SG-starved team – much less this stacked roster. Meanwhile our only actual PFs on the roster are PJ and Kobe, and both our backup Cs are FAs this summer. Signing Kai always made more sense than Primo – it’s just strange timing and I dunno what Primo was doing here in the first place.
