I really like this addition providing that he stays healthy.

Low risk, high upside, our summer motto.

He fits the mould that Ty likes for a big man.

For a 3rd string big he is a luxury.

Feel like we will make one more addition, a SF/PF type of player maybe.

George King and Moses Wright may not make the cut, but you never know.

I take him as 3rd string doubt he’d want to, also can’t see the lakers releasing him if there’s even a slim chance he opts to play for us warriors contender etc.

Man I was hoping the Clips would trade for Marc Gasol. I actually thought the Lakers would be crazy to release him. They need more front court help, even with DJ in the fold, I would’ve thought they would keep 3 centers as with everyone’s age and AD’s injury history, they very well could need the insurance.

Marc would’ve fit into the Clips TPE, so could’ve taken him (and a 2nd round pick, which is something too). Probably comes down to Marc wanting to stay in Spain rather than sit on someone’s bench all season. So I can’t fault the Clips if that was the request, but I still think he would be a very capable player for limited minutes and a great mentor for a guy like Zu.
