Almost wanted them to keep it a little closer and keep their starters in. Definitely expect Denver to have better showing, but they do look like a team that is running on fumes. Will be interesting how they respond, some teams may just fold after getting hit in the mouth in Game 1, however this Denver team won a lot of games, and just came back from down 3-1, so I don’t expect them to go away so easily.

Kawhi is a playoff monster. Seriously showing flashes of Kobe/Michael in this game. Still have to pinch myself sometimes that this guy is in a Clipper uniform. I still think if the Clips are going to reach their goal, he’s going to have some off games, but man he looks unstoppable right now.

Clips are looking like a team they have the potential of being, and that team we saw before the shut down in March (or even better). I still worry since I still don’t think they can keep up this level of shooting over the rest of the playoffs, but if they do…. the rest of the NBA is in trouble.

I think the fact that Denver was tired a little bit played a part(maybe not heavily but some) the second struggle which you touched on which is the obvious missed shots by Denver played a much bigger part but what I really think played the biggest part to Denver’s annhilation was the clippers offense which made few mistakes, swung the ball around to get great looks and kawhi leonards blindfolded mid range shots that continue to drop with ease. Kawhi Leonard continues to be like jean Claude van dam in the movie “Kickboxer” where Jean Claude is blindfolded catching fish out of a pond with his barehands. Kawhi is completely going ninja on the nba! Cold blooded assassin! The clippers just looked Way faster on making decisions and reads on Denver’s defense. Clippers Defense was pretty smothering with and without Bev in the game as well. Game 2 we will see Denver come out with a lot more I imagine but I’m also not going to discount the clippers who showed why there such favorites to win the Larry O B this year. Clippers were amazing on both sides of the ball and I will NOT be shocked if Denver comes out pushing all there chips in game 2 for the first quarter and then after that the clippers for a second time just crush em in the 2nd quarter! Saturday will be here shortly, in the meantime......... ugh I hate doing it but Let’s hope rockets can come out tomorrow and steal a game from the rested Purple and Pee-Pees!
